every end has its beginning

Whew long time no post here! I have been busy lately and many other events were going on. I'm just gonna update here and post about my sister's recognition last April. She got all this six awards, best in almost everything!

My sister is really smart. She graduated Salutatorian in her elementary year and she even had the most number of awards even more than the Valedictorian. I'm really happy for her that she is doing really good. She wants to be a doctor someday, my dream that has always remained only in my dreams. I'm actually planning to send her off abroad to study later and even consider taking her to modelling career because she's really really tall and her legs are a major want. Haha, so there.

Pictures!

I remember having to make a speech because I was the Salutatorian of the school too back then, but I never did I get to receive these many awards

Of course, we had an after party celebration dinner

with Dad, Mom and little Sandy

Mom wore this very elegant dress and preppy shoes

I'm trying out for short hair but I don't know

This is one of my favorite blazers. The thing about blazers is that they are so versatile and you can wear them over and over again.

There, I'm OFF now!
Happy summer! Vacation is almost over!

It's really freakin' hot here in my country so I have always preferred to just stay at home. But this day, I went ga-ga for shopping. Vacation's almost over I have to make the most out of my free days.

See, I've gone casual.
Also, I really don't post all these photos on Facebook or something. I'm used to posting just one look/outfit.

It's been busy lately because we had been doing campaigns for the elections recently. I will post the photos from the Nacionalista Political Party Mtg De Avance next time. :)

I gotta feeling, tonight's gonna be a good night

I will post these because I'm feeling bad right now.
Actually I posted some, like a teaser something, of my birthday already.

I wish I have more than one birthday a year. Why can't people have more than one birthday every year? I would really love a celebration at least every month - shows how self-centered I am but don't you think it would really be very good if you have many birthdays to celebrate a year? A day which is all about you, because a birthday is an excuse for people to be nice to you or even order them around and make them do things they don't normally do for you.

Anyway, stop my ranting. Here are the photos from my pig-out screamo clubbing party. I planned this day to be awesome and my friends did not fail me.

I got a new haircut (with bangs) for my birthday. I also did my own make-up, since I'm very good at painting faces haha

Don't get me wrong, this was rather a forced shot. They dragged me on top of the billiards table, tossed all the balls around me and I posed. LOL

Everybody in school calls me Lady Gaga, prolly because of my new haircut. This shot, I was actually imitating Lady Gaga from her MV Just Dance. Fail??

Friends who completed the day. They aren't complete. Those who weren't able to come, hmp.

These kids know how to pig-out really.

..and suckers for videoke

...and partying. We just got hyped up all night!

and even doing these billiards tricks. The room we had had a billiard table, in case some get bored of just singing their hearts out.

I promised myself that I would be really pretty this day. I bought this awesome dress from one of my favorite online stores. Please visit them, they really make fabulous clothes and dresses! http://glitterati.multiply.com

Yes, I get to blow a cake! I was actually expecting a cake from someone special but it was total expectation failure haha. I was really stupid to believe it could happen. But it's good I was able to 'force' my good friends to buy me a cake! :p

Another pig-out when during our stop-over @Mcdonald's. We didn't stop eating that night.

We went to a bar afterwards.

Boo. Got caught.

No, I'm not drunk. I drank iced tea.

After party look.

Oh and here are my saucesome friends who made it to my very special day

I really had fun this day despite some unfortunate and 'evil' circumstances and people who made me feel bad at the day of my birthday. Next year, I hope it's gonna be more awesome than this.

Yay, I feel better now!

Happy blogging!

My Puppy Heart

Summers here in the Philippines also mean the end of the school academic year. I attended my little niece's recognition at the morning but I wasn't able to go to her graduation in the afternoon because I had class. She's off nursery grade now. Before, she could not go to a normal school because she has speech delay so she had to undergo regular one-on-one therapy sessions to improve her speech as well as her motor and reading skills.

It was a hard situation then especially when her father died of bone marrow cancer when she was only 3 years old. Until now, she still does not understand what it means when we ask her,

"Where is your father? (Asan 'tatay mo?)" as well as her answer to it
"Dead already" (Wala na. Patay na.)
She calls her father "tatay".

She actually have many stories about her life, what she had and have to go through at her young age but I need more time writing so that I can give justice to my little niece's story.

Well at least now,2 years after, she already improved so much and she is even the second among her classmates and also the best in writing.

Sandy, our little niece

And this is Masaki, her fil-japanese lover :) She actually cried when once she tried to kiss Masaki but he refused. haha She got brokenhearted and cried so much.

I wonder if after decades, she would be able to remember her puppy love affair she is crazy about right now.

Their official photographer, ME. Just wearing casual top and shorts plus shooties

Oh and btw, it's the same nursery and kindergarten school I had attended for my kiddie days. One of my teachers is still there! It's been what? 16 years already.

Sometimes when we go back to the place we used to be and go, we will realize that there are some things that remain the same despite the many changes.
